Who We Are

Anne Coughlan has pursued two passions throughout her life in tandem; business and performing. Her business background is practical and diverse, settling into communications and administration.

She was born and raised in Stratford, Ontario and attended UWO before beginning to assist small business clients in and around Southern Ontario. A move to Toronto allowed even more cross over into the business of theatre, initially in a provincial position with Theatre Ontario, then as Communications Director for the Toronto Theatre Alliance and most recently the role of Company Manager at The Canadian Stage Company (CanStage) Canada's largest year-round contemporary theatre. She has also been a guest lecturer for the U of T Elderhostal program and at U of T's arts administration program.

Her life as a performer began as a child on her father's television show The Treehouse on CKCO TV. While maintaining more “traditional” employment she's been cast professionally in 13 live theatre productions, 3 premieres, the lead vocalist of two musical groups, a short film and a radio commercial.

She and Mike Wilmot began Supporting Roles Interactive in 1997 and have managed its success over the years, cultivating a clientele base that has grown across the country.

Mike Wilmot has been involved in various branches of performance since the mid seventies. After attending the University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College he spent over twenty years as an on air personality at numerous Ontario radio stations. He has also been involved in theatre, film and television since the late eighties performing in numerous stage productions, movies and commercials.Mike has also worked as a volunteer reader and performer with “Performers for Literacy”, a group dedicated to instilling a love of reading in children.

Mike is also a successful comedy writer, supplying material for Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update segment and many North American comedy publications. His writing skills have lead to engaging scripts, written for business clients as diverse as charities and banks, that successfully weave learning situations into entertaining presentations.

With his business partner Anne Coughlan, Mike has been involved in corporate and business roleplaying since 1997, performing in and managing hundreds of roleplay scenarios. Mike currently resides in London Ontario where he runs the London Office of Supporting Roles.
